I spent six years running my own clothing brand, learning the ins and outs of product development, marketing, branding, and customer experience.

What began as a small online store I built myself grew into something much bigger — with showcases at Fashion Week, magazine features, and eventually a brick-and-mortar store that opened as the 2020 pandemic hit. Thanks to our thriving online store we were able to afloat during an unpredictable time, by pivoting to making masks and marketing effectively.

Looking back, I truly believe it was the digital side of the brand — our online presence, email marketing, and community engagement — that made all the difference. That’s where I fell in love with e-commerce and marketing. In time, that passion overtook the fashion side of things, and I made the decision to close the brand and focus fully on helping other businesses grow in the online space.

That hands-on journey gave me a grounded, real-world perspective of what it’s like to run a business in today’s ever-changing digital landscape — the highs, the pivots, the lessons.
